AGELAIOS turns any embedded computer into a hardened C2 node: an immutable OS with verified boot, signed and isolated modules, a resilient multi-bearer mesh, and a tactical picture in a plain browser. Released under the Apache-2.0 license: auditable, deployable and federable by any defense-industry actor.

AGELAIOS

Open tactical node platform

The AGELAIOS foundation deployed on its targets: rugged tablet, tablet, smartphone and a drone with a gimbal camera.

Immutable OS with verified boot, signed and sandboxed modules, chained audit log: every node stays operable, observable and revocable, even offline. The foundation is public; your program keeps control.

Standards

Your standards, already on board.

NATO, NIST, ANSSI, OGC, IETF: AGELAIOS speaks the language of your theaters, your allies and your auditors. 84 standards covered across 14 domains, each with an owned, acceptance-verified status, with no brochure compliance.

Open source

Open, auditable, federable.

The foundation ships under the Apache-2.0 license. Clone the repository, replay the demo in the emulator (x86-64 + ARM64), verify the reproducible build, with no NDA and no meeting.

Subject to DGA approval and export-control clearance: repository release is withheld in the meantime.

The foundation in motion

The open foundation beneath the tactical view

The tactical view is an application. What the project opens is the foundation beneath it: exchange standards, network mesh, and coalition dissemination rules.

01 Open standards

Open standards, no proprietary format

AGELAIOS tags every object to open standards: APP-6 symbology, MGRS grid, Cursor-on-Target exchange. No proprietary format. No gateway to purchase.

  • CoT out of the box
  • APP-6
  • MGRS

02 Mesh

A mesh with no central server

The node inventories every bus it finds: Ethernet, WiFi, serial, CAN, I2C, SPI, BLE, LoRa. It classes each as wired or radio for the EMCON posture. Traffic runs natively over TLS on IP and over the binary wire on serial. After an outage, nodes reconcile their picture by CRDT, with no central server and no conflict.

  • Multi-bearer
  • CRDT
  • No central server

03 Coalition dissemination

A partner receives what its rule allows

Every datum carries a dissemination label. The peer node receives the tracks it is authorized to hold. A nationally-restricted track stays on the local node. The peer holds no trace of it.

  • Dissemination label
  • Border filtering
  • Coalition

04 Governed modules

Signed modules, isolated from the kernel

Extensions are signed, isolated modules. A public key verifies their origin. A module failure stays contained and does not reach the tactical kernel.

  • Signed
  • Isolated
  • Kernel protected

05 Resilience

The node stays useful with no network

With no link, the node stays operational. Exchanges accumulate in a prioritized queue. Resync happens on reconnect. A security condition degrades posture without blocking the operation.

  • Offline-first
  • Prioritized queue
  • No blocking

06 One foundation, many apps

An open foundation, applications on top

The foundation ships under the Apache-2.0 license. The tactical view shown here is one application on that foundation. A third party builds its own under the same rules.

  • Apache-2.0
  • Third-party apps
  • Sovereign

The foundation is open. Your applications ride on top.

Ecosystem : six modules on one foundation

  • [ 01 ]

    Immutable OS

Minimal base with verified boot and signed A/B images. A node’s state is exactly what you audited.

  • [ 02 ]
